Full console
Use the split transcript-and-answer workspace to review the current prompt and recent answer history.
The native Orecot application keeps transcript, answer history, usage status, capture controls, and a compact overlay in one Windows workflow for interviews on Zoom, Google Meet, Microsoft Teams, and other desktop calls.
Use the split transcript-and-answer workspace to review the current prompt and recent answer history.
Switch from the full console to a smaller answer surface when you need to preserve more screen space.
Use Snip to select a relevant problem, editor region, diagram, or document when the spoken question is not enough.
Download the current Windows installer, complete desktop sign-in, and confirm the app version before the interview.
Choose language, response length, intelligence mode, and transcript behavior before joining the interview.
Start the live session in the full console, then use Overlay when the current answer needs a smaller display.
Console controls
The main console is designed around explicit controls rather than hidden automation.
The left pane follows interviewer speech and labels complete questions. The right pane keeps numbered answers aligned with their originating questions.
Pause keeps the session available without processing new questions. Stop ends the active capture workflow. Live indicates that the session is currently listening.
Clear resets the current visible session context. Snip opens a region selector so only the visual area needed for the question is captured.
Overlay workflow
Overlay mode is another view of the current assistant state, not a separate conversation.
Use the Overlay control after the session is running. The current answer remains associated with the same question and answer number.
The overlay emphasizes the active answer and cue. Return to the console when you need full transcript history or settings.
The native overlay measures wrapped answer content and adjusts its layout, while still allowing the window to be positioned for the interview setup.
The published desktop package targets 64-bit Windows. Use the current installer offered in the Orecot dashboard.
